Chat Channels... WTF?

Chat Channels - One thing that annoys the hell out of me is the chat channels. This goes for any MMO. Don't get me wrong the chat channel ability is great if it was used for what it was intended for. Now the channels are just filled with immature people and their conversations. I do find some stuff offensive and it can be really hard to offend me. What is the purpose to link items or spells to chat and have the word "anal" after it?

Really? It's not funny after it was done once, why keep it going?

Then there are the people who "flame" other people constantly. Someone is asking about a quest or a setting and you always will get the " press alt+F4" answer... or the your a "nub""noob"" thing.
GROW UP! there are people who will be new to the game, just as you were once, that will need some advice or help, just help then as one day you will need help too! remember that old saying "Treat others like you want to be treated" and the classic "KARMA".

Oh and one more thing  - type Proper F'n grammer -  if you need to type short hand, I am ok with that, such as people = ppl simple enough but don't say you pawnd or haxor ( by the way its HACKER) or ownz me because I have news for you you don't own shit! you pawned what? When did we play chess and when did I become a pawn in your chess game or mastermind plan?
Here is the definition of the word "pawn":
  • Main Entry: 1pawn
  • Pronunciation: \ˈpn, ˈpän\
  • Function: noun
  • Etymology: Middle English pown, from Anglo-French peoun, paun, from Medieval Latin pedon-, pedo foot soldier, from Latin ped-, pes foot — more at foot
  • Date: 14th century
1 : one of the chessmen of least value having the power to move only forward ordinarily one square at a time, to capture only diagonally forward, and to be promoted to any piece except a king upon reaching the eighth rank
2 : one that can be used to further the purposes of another

 /rant off

Yeah now I am good! Maybe one day I won't have to turn off all my chat channels.
